Yesterday we lost our dear Hogan, born Oct 31 2010. Even tho he wasn't my fur baby he was a big part of our lives. Every holiday event dad would bring Hogan to my place for sleep overs. As I was the only one that had the room to puppy sit him. Never again will I get to watch him play "lip" with my 6lb poodle. It was a game he had made up to play with my Sunny....nee was so gentle. He would sit in front of Sunny while she at on the arm of my chair and gentlely sway his lip back and forth until it almost touched Sunny. And Sunny would try to grab it. He was a big ever so gentle giant. Hogan was a great uncle to my Bella as well. He never grew tired of playing with Bella. When she was little she would grab his ears as he walked by.... He would keep going even with lil Bella hanging on just hanging off the ear...When he got tired of it he would just lay down and Bella would let go because it wasn't fun any more

Thanks guys, its true it is heart breaking when you lose something that has been part of your lives for many years. I find the hardest part is watching my dad's heart break. I wish there was some way to help him, but I know he has to grieve in his own way and time. I'll wait for a bit and send our Bella to entertain him. She always cracks us up ever night with her antics

Words will always fail....love is the bridge....memory walks with us down the road to the rainbow bridge. We close our eyes and open them on the other side with all our loved ones, both two- and four-legged, in a place called Paradise.
Run free Hogan...love will follow...someday.
