Hi All,
I'm so happy to have found this forum. I joined one (can't remember which) back in 2005 when I was researching the breed. I ended up getting Liberty Belle in December 2005. She was the most amazing, loving, loyal, beautiful dog ever. As you all know already, Mastiffs have a way with people who know nothing about the breed, let alone their human families. Sadly, Libby passed away April 2013 and I was devastated. People say time heals all wounds but in this case... not so sure.
On the one year anniversary of her passing I decided to take a chance and said yes to a first date (just to get out of the house) and spent most of the evening talking about my dog eek and honestly, I didn't stop talking about her there. We've been together ever since and so when puppy fever started heating up recently, my boyfriend was the one who encouraged me to get a new baby because he knew how happy Libby had made me.
Soooo.... ONE MORE WEEK and I get to pick up this precious little girl! She will be just over 8 weeks old at that time. I got to meet and hang out with her for a few hours at 6 weeks and I didn't want to leave! The breeder is awesome and I paid close attention to the full grown mastiffs in her house (momma and her pups from previous litters) and they were all so well behaved and perfect examples of the mastiff breed's temperament. I'm sooo happy and sooo excited to get that puppy breath in my life again!!!
This is Phoebe at 4-5 weeks and another from the other night the breeder sent after she wore herself out sniffing the snow!
