Gas

I have a 7 month old Mastiff mix and he eats California Natural chicken and rice but he gets awful awful gas. he just rips them one after another could it be the food or is this just a mastiff thing. I have been using air freshner and candles but my house stinks so bad. people tell me my house smells like someone pooped a honey dew melon. Help me please any ideas

Don't know if it is about the food or anything but I feed mine innova and she still can fart pretty nasty a few times a day

Mongo has HORRIBLE GAS ALL the time!!! lol but he gets all kinds of treats and rawhides during the day to keep him busy so Im not sure which one gives him gas.... it doesnt really seem to smell up the house thou

Thank you for you responses. I guess it wouldn't be so bad but he always wants to lay and place his rear end close to my face. I have 3 boys and a dog that have to try and out fart one another some days are worse than others.

He's not old enough yet, but when he is, try him on Innova EVO RM. Switching to a raw diet might pretty much take care of it and you might try him on some buttermilk or yogurt for a treat. Sometimes that helps.

When it's really bad, give him a Phazyme cap. Works wonders. The ex's Fila, Shiva has gas that would gag a maggot sometimes because he lets her go rummage around at the trailer park next door to him . . . so many reasons that man is an EX.
