Before you get a Fila I suggest you do a ton of research and not only CAFIB. There are good and bad in all the different groups.

I'm assuming you know their temperament. A proper Fila should not tolerate strangers and will attack. Just as your Fila will be, you have to be on guard at all times.

Ofcourse, it goes without saying to research both sides. The website I posted is not of a kennel but of the CAFIB club in Italy (contrary to what some say CAFIB is internationally recognized). If I'm not mistaken a man named Aniello is the head of that out there. you can also check out ONCIERO in Czech Republic (CAFIB club in Czech) as they are very active, Jan Kubesa is the head guy there I believe.
