I am glad you guys think so. The folks on FB Boerboel UK are just about done with my big mouth LOL, well someone needs to speak up once in awhile. I wish I knew how the dog was doing right now.

I too belong to a page or forum that i am constantly getting negative comments for things I say. Everything I say is obviouse to me but they make it seem like I'm bonkers.

They went ahead and did a barium trace and it took 4 hours to pass through. Usually it only takes about 30 minutes to an hour. It seems to be slowed down in the chest area. I am wondering if an acute case of Megasophagus could do something like this. They are putting him on steroids to reduce any inflammations. That is as much as I know right now.

Well Chaos is going into surgery to remove an obstruction in upper digestive tract. This should have been done a week ago when he had more strength and was in better condition. Keep your fingers crossed he needs it.

Chaos is still in recovery, they found that his pyloric sphincter was closed down to a pinhole size and some growth was near or on it (I bet scar tissue from injury when this all began). They opened it up to normal size and sent the biopsy out for analysis. He is still very sick from starvation but is able to eat a little babyfood every couple of hours. If his strength improves by the end of today he may get to go home. Lisa his Humom keeps saying she will never get another dog as this was too stressful. I tell her she will but don't even think of that yet. She is a spaz and everything is always a huge thing. Maybe now she will learn perspective. I hope this is over because well dammit I'm stressed out too!

Glad to hear Chaos made it through the surgery, and will keep fingers crossed that he continues to do well. I can imagine you are stressed, but I'm sure you know in your heart that if you hadn't been around at this time to give her some advice that there is a very real possibility that Chaos may not have survived. Well done on your part :)

OMG! I never even considered that until now. My hairs all stood up on end.
