found an abandoned presa! now i'm a new owner!

hey there! i'm blockhead. i love doggies, but i've mostly owned silly, mid-sized mutts. that changed when, on the way home, my girlfriend spotted a huge doggy sniffing a coke can. she invited the stinker into her car and took him home. he had entropion on both his eyes and he had a killer UTI. we figured that he had an owner---he had a collar, albeit very dirty, and he was just such a handsome dog! we put up ads everywhere we could think and even brought him to a shelter so he could be picked up of anyone was missing him, but no dice. we're now fostering to adopt, since the aspca can't adopt him out until he's all better.he's about two years old, and his name is big boss, after the metal gear character! i just thought you might like to meet him.he is a big baby! he was an undersocialized yard dog, we think. he is smart and understands directions but he is a big whiner and LOVES to be babied. he has just started doggy training school! i cant upload photos on mobile but when i get home ill upload lots of pictures!

What a great thing that you rescued this dog. I would do a lot of research on the Presa breed as they are really great dogs but tend to be very suspicious of people other than their owners. Good Luck.

thank you all!i do feel very lucky to have him. he's so handsome and just PERFECT.....we were astounded he was let go in the first place. we think he might have been a runt (at 84 pounds) and maybe that's partly why he was let go?anyway, here are some photos of my little goober! he loves to have things thrown for him but he can't fetch, and he galumphs over to anything you throw and does tiny hops in between and i LOVE IT! he also sticks his tongue out when he is sleeping and is prone to sleep talking and howling. i love him SO much.i'm linking them from tumblr because the file management thing just won't work for me! i hope this is ok!http://40.media.tumblr.com/768a6c2b...df8c7144fb/tumblr_o24vkxfSl71qecmq4o1_500.jpg

i'd say us, but now he is doing zoomies in the back yard, galumphing around in the sun. so him, but we are a close second!
