Food for FILA

Mine come from my breeder on adult food , I have never fed puppy food . I do not like to recommend a specific dog food, but advise to do your research on what is actually good quality food or if you would like to feed raw. I do both . Dog Food Reviews and Ratings | Dog Food Advisor is a good place to start, 4 stars and above is what you want to feed. Also now lots of them have issues with dry kibble chicken flavored.

I feed my dogs human grade stuff, literally the same food I would eat. I do recall looking at some stuff we had prepared for them just prior to taking them ona vacation trip during elk season and, well, wrapped it up in a flour tortilla and had my way with it. I did add some green chili first.

Thanks all...I have always fed my dogs (other breeds) human grade food. They eat whatever we do. It can be a little inconvenient though..especially on days when we are not cooking or are travelling. Once used to home cooked food, it is not easy for them to eat regular dog food.

My dog came from the breeder with a bag of some white bag Royal Canin formulation that isn't available over the counter and on his advice we switched to royal canin giant puppy when the bag was done. So far so good. Perfect poops, seems healthy.
