A Fila should never show any aggression towards its family that being said has anyone has had any filas that did, such as food aggression?
on the side note i continue to test my pup for any signs of food aggression but so far he's been passing with flying colours not a spec of food aggression although he did have problems with my german shepherd , but i quickly corrected that and thats gone too now.

There are others more qualified to speak on this but I would not expect any kind of aggression from a fila towards one of its human family. Even with a starving rescue within a few days Ziva would allow us to take food from her. I didn't test her much at first but now I'll take a bone in mid chew and she will not show any aggression. Another animal, that is a different story.

No dog should show aggression to their owner and in thevent that a pup (or new adult dog) shows some food aggression it should be corrected. I would not have a dog (regardless of the breed) that would be aggressive in any way towards me.

Our pup started to become food aggression and we ended it as soon as she started to growl. She is now perfect with food and shows no aggression in any other way....except for her toy lambchop that torments the crap out of her lol
