Flower update!!!!

they removed 10l of fluid from her stomach,her pancreas looks good and pink.no dead tissue of the stomach,but she had adhesions on her stomach that caused the blockage.vet can pretty much guarantee she will develop adhesions again.she finished surgery around 7 am and has been having trouble with a very low bp.the vet states,she will be touch and go and not in the clear until the staples come out in 10-14 days.says she is very,very sick girl,but a fighter.she highly recommended we come and see her today.sadly,she will not be able to come home for a while and I am afraid I may have to make some tough decisions today. I cannot express how much it means to come on her and have all of the positive thoughts and encouragement for my girl!!I am truly torn as to which is the right direction to take. I just want her to have quality of life! we are leaving in a few to go spend a little time with her.

If she's not ready to give up fight with her. Thor tried as hard as he could to hold on for me before he passed.

What was she doing that caused her to bloat? Do you remember? I know its difficult right now but since I lost Thor to bloat I'm more inclined to find out more about this.

I will post more info tomorrow,I am exhausted.my mil also had a mini stroke yesterday,so we have been either at the evs or the hospital with her.Flower is having diarrhea now,hoping that is just some aftershocks and moving its way out!she is sitting half way up and trying to stand.thank you for the continued support!!
