first heat cycle

hey there.. my girl Xena is 21 days in and bleeding through the entire cycle...is this normal???

how old is she ? young bitches , especially first time dogs often have abnormally long heats ? if she's an older dog who has had normal heats previously the vets may want to look for the reason and stop it ....... i think if you took her in at 21 days , and she's a young dog , they'd want to give her more time ......... she doesn't have symptoms of a uti ? acts normal , eating and drinking normal ?normal temperature ?

It can be normal for your girl, it varies by dog. Some of mine can/have bled through an entire cycle and others don't just depends again in the individual dog.
