Fear stage

Just a simple question. How long does the "fear stage" normally last for an EM? I have been reading other posts and I understand the importance of them over coming their fears and introducting them to new things and also not making a fuss over things when they are scared of something but I have not read or maybe I over looked about how long it lasts. He started it last month when he was 8 months old and we have kept on introducing him to new things and not making a fuss over him being scared and he is doing good with it. I was just wondering how long it can last. Thanks!! :)

depends on dogs, the CC usually go through them when teething, again at 1 and again at 18 months.
Can last a few days to a few weeks, keep getting them out and don't cater to it and will be fine. Good luck, I just went through the spooky teething period. LMAO, thank god is over now. Goofy babies :)

Am doing what you are saying and it seems to be working. I ll just keep it up and see where we go. He really is so goofy. Today my mother in law and her boyfriend came over and he has not seen them since he was 4 months so he was "scared" of them. I turned my back on him, didnt say anything, and kept on standing where I was he took about 3-5 minutes and finally came over and let them pet him. After that he was very good with them and sat down and let them pet him. I was so proud of him. lol! :)
