She is improving daily. Thanks for asking! She must be feeling better because she is being a little turd. lol. Eyes are looking better, still some swelling, but overall much better. Eating, drinking, zoomies, everything is back to normal. She gets an hour or two a day without the cone so her neck can dry, it's made a big difference. Thank God. She goes in for her two week check on Wednesday, hope the cone comes off for good. It's been hard keeping her separated from our Lab. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. How's Kaz?

Kaz is doing amazing. No problems with the eyes at all after the cherry removal. He's just his big goofy self. Brought him to the dog park today and he was playing with all the other dogs there. He needed it though even in minus 10 degree weather. Poor thing has been housebound a lot lately.

Glad to hear Kaz is doing so well! I can imagine not being able to get outside would cause some SERIOUS pent up energy. -10???? Brrrrrrrr. Better you than me. lol

Fingers crossed the cone comes off today! Baci goes in for her two week check up. She has turned into a MAJOR terror in the last week. Doing things she KNOWS are against the rules. Can't wait to get the house back to normal!

Fingers & toes crossed that cone comes off today! Good to hear that she is back to normal even though she's being a bit challenging. *winking*

Well, we don't get to lose the cone yet....Sigh. She managed to get some of the sutures out in her right eye. How, I have no idea since she's wearing the cone all the time. So, at least another week or 2. All new meds, she's still very swollen. This too shall pass. At least that's what my Mom used to say. Haven't had a spare moment to take pictures, but I promise I'll try.

We've finally lost the cone (a majority of the time) anyway. She still has swelling but is feeling much better. I can tell because she ate the arm off the couch. Awesome. Go back in on Wed. for another checkup. Hopefully we'll have good news. I'm tired of keeping the dogs separated. Thanks for asking. How's Kaz?

Oooww! Omg I would shit if kaz ate the couch or any furniture. Lol. Sorry about the couch. I'm glad to hear she is feeling better though. When do you think the swelling should come down? Does it still look like she has cherry eye? For baci's sake...I really hope she gets back to normal. I would hate to hear she had to go thru another surgery again! I have to be honest to say that I am really skeptical that this procedure works on the Neapolitan breed.. I have yet to hear of one that did but if it works then this will just prove me and everyone wrong! Kaz is doing great. No dry eye whatsoever. I'm just having issues right now with keeping him contained. I posted pictures of the latest jail break lol

I saw that! Very impressive! They are so strong!!!. We have a door like gate keeping the dogs separated and Baci will hit it with her front legs and knock it down at least once a day. The door frame isn't looking so good right now. :eek:/ The Dr. said the swelling could take 6-8 weeks to go down, I'm beginning to think I should've listened about the Sx. I was in such a quandry because I've seen what dry eye can do. It may be a lose, lose situation. Fingers are still crossed though.
