So I volunteered at my first ever dog "event" yesterday. A K9 Nosework Elements Specialty Trial. I learned more as an odor box setter and parking lot attendant than I could have imagined! And it was like a tent city out in that parking lot!
Anyway, I am planning on trialing in a NW1 trial either in July or September, as long as we pass the ORT in June with Yogi, and I'm hoping to show in conformation with my new puppy. Anyway, I couldn't help but start a mental shopping list for making our day spent in a parking lot as comfortable as possible. Minus an RV, which I don't have, nor will be getting by then, I have the following planned purchases:
Reflective blankets and clips
fan(s)
pop up
cooling dog bed
water, bowels, etc.
cooler/food/beverages
chairs
X-pen
So what items could you not live without or found made for a more comfortable set up while trialing or showing?
