Some breeders designate a letter to represent that litter. If it is the first litter they might use "A" so all the puppies in that litter's name usually start with an A and include the kennel name. It doesn't mean that is what you have to call them at home is more about their registered name.
U2 de Italica Terrae goes by Hemi (themed litter of bands but couldn't see me calling everyone in and saying you too, U2 )
Danae goes by her registered name
We haven't decided what we are going to do with our litter but if it is themed then we don't request that the puppy be called by its registered name, they are more than welcome to call the puppy at home whatever they want but in show catelogues, peidgrees, etc. the name that is shown will be the registered one.
Both my breeders have said I could change the call, how ever I like the registered names as call names.
We have shortened Aurora to Raw, and Charybdis to Cribs.
But on paper it is Aurora del' Agreste and Antiquity's Charybdis
Both breeders have been old school and go by the traditional A,B,C litters. However I believe Lisa started with B over A with her first litter, lol, had to many B names she liked.
Thank you guys for the explanation
