I've got one dog that I fight to keep weight on. The only thing I found that works for him are Satin Balls. Typically a 1 inch ball daily helps to keep him at an ideal size (he's a 70 lbs Irish Setter mix) but when he starts looking too much I do increase them until his weight returns to ideal and then go back to a maintenance dose.

I've not used any supplements, but I have also used satin balls with great success on seriously skinny boxers. I did take a look at the buffk9. It seems that there's no ingredient list anywhere that I can find. Not even on the packaging. I would never give my dog anything without knowing exactly what was in it, in what amounts, and from what sources.
