I was in Herning, Denmark, for the 2010 World Dog Show in late June. Tosa Inu were banned from the show (they have been outlawed in Denmark, along with American Pitbull Terriers, since the early 1990s), but Dogos, AmStaffs and Denmark's other now-banned breeds were present and were exhibited, without incident.

In fact, the Italian "Amerikansk Staffordshire Terrier" BIS BISS Multi-Ch. Lievore's Edition Ipno (lots of great AmStaffs coming out of Italy these days!) took a Group 3 in the Terrier Group.

Not coincidentally, the legislation was timed to go into effect right after the show's 20,000-odd dogs (and the attendant tourist dollars) left the country.
