Counter Surfing

I knew to keep things off the counter, but never thought about not soaking things in the sink. :( He had emptied half the water out of the muffin tin I had soaking before I figured out what he was doing. Note the cheerleader on the floor behind him. Trouble makers!

Apparently I have a bit more work to do with counter surfing.

Yup. My older catahoula taught Topaz all about counter surfing. Blue can't reach in the sink, but it's absolutely no problem for Topaz. We lose a lot Gladware that way...LOL

I made the big mistake of making up the tupperware container of 4 pounds of Bravo raw blend and 1 pound of XKaliber green tripe/meat/bone raw blend, then tucked it high and deep on the counter while I went to get the dinner bowls...I heard a crash and by the time I got back to the kitchen, he had already finished off 3/4 of it all! I let Djouli finish off the rest, and they both spit shined my cupboard doors all night

Worst I have experienced is as a kid (we had a doberman, a greyhound and a terrier mix). We went outside to say goodbye to company and left the dogs in the house with swiss steak simmering in a cast iron frying pan. Came back in not more than 5 minutes later and dinner was gone. The dogs were fine, but to this day I never leave anything cooking on the stove unattended if there are dogs in the house. Today these two discovered splenda! It appears that it was just before I got home as the bag was still on the counter (I missed that after morning coffee) and most of it was still in the bag, but the happy faces covered in white powder was priceless. Husband wants to know if I secretly bought "columbian" mastiffs LOL
