Logan did great his first night. I get up at 4:30 am to cook breakfast for hubby and fix his lunch, so Logan stayed in his crate till 4:30. He is getting the hang of house training, and overall is just a really awesome pup!! He is really into affection. Even sharing his food and bone with Sophie. She did go off on him when he tried to nibble her tail :) :) lol. 20180420952006541.jpg

He does look like he's smiling a lot. He's a very happy pup. He had another good night. Didn't cry at all last night. He seems to be getting used to the routine, and doing great with house training. Only a couple of slip ups. I can tell he is starting to get attached us. And he adores our 6 year old daughter. :)

Of course he likes the sock to play with the best. Seems like with all the dogs I've had, they like the simplest cheapest things to play with.

Really enjoying having a puppy :)
He is learning things quickly. Going to the door now to potty. ( I was bringing him out like every 45 min. ) But it paid off and he is catching on. Worked on sit and he's doing great. He's getting used to the leash. He is absolutely delightful!!
And growing!!IMAG0613.jpgHe's funny! Sleeping under the chair20180422951824151.jpg

Great looking dog!
Usually when i see pics of young CAS they seem a little generic looking where its hard to tell exactly what they are.
But Logan looks awesome. He definitely has all the right storng looking CAS features. Impressive

How big do you think he is going to get (estimate)? I remember his breeder does not necessarily want to breed "giant" dogs as they lose agility and drive. He said something like "Giant dog sleeps all day", which I thought was funny.

He is the biggest in the litter. He was since day 1. 2 males. 4 females. But compared to some that are bred for fighting. He is average. I think he will probably be the typical 150 - 175. Probably more toward the 175. There is a funny video of a gigantic CAS. Where they breed for more size. He has a horrible rear end. It looks like cow hocks. Just as with some Neo's , people have taken a great breed and distorted it. In this video the CAS is strong, but too big. And badly built .

Yeah. Ive noticed that to. Those giant ones seem to be used more for what they refer to as "testing" purposes or fighting. I always assumed they were good for other traditional working task too.

But then I saw your breeder say the same thing TylerDurden mention about the size. Which makes perfect sense. Wonder if the giant ones are capable of any traditional type work at all.
