Central Asian Shepherd Pup Logan

I was nervous about it too, so that's why I'm going to start slow and see how it goes. That was mostly like a treat. I did cut back on his kibble yesterday to incorporate the piece of chicken. I wanted to see how he would do with it. And he did very well. He's already passed it and everything looked good. His poop actually looked better, if that makes any sense. Didn't smell as horrid either. And that's just from one piece of chicken. I will continue to give him kibble, and slowly transition him to raw. And until he reaches 1 year I will do kibble in am and raw in pm. I have read and reread a lot of info on raw, so I feel pretty confident about it. This forum has been a great source for info on feeding raw.
Well, it sounds as if you've done your homework. Good luck with it! :)

So how big is Logan expected to get?

His breeder said he expects him to get around 150-158. They are not giants. But they are very long dogs. From shoulder to tail. So on hind legs can be very big. They have big heads and a large chest and an extra large dewlap because they are bred to fight off predators like wolves etc... they wouldn't be agile enough if they were too heavy.

How much does Zeela weigh?
Height?

Oh, I see, she's about 75-80 lbs. right now, she's got long legs I would say about 25" height wise, she's lean but she is only going to be 11 mos. and I heard they fill out, her chest is big and her head is massive.
kind of looks like an awkward teenager. lol... I live with her so I don't see how big she is getting but I've been told, wow, she's getting big. alot of work a big dog is, no? o_O

Yes , you are right about the work!

It's good that she's lean. And your right they do go through that awkward teen phase :) They will start to look out of proportion, but then fill in nicely. She's a pretty girl.

Logan is 14 weeks old. I haven't gotten his weight recently. But he is probably around 42-45lbs.

OMG April-Nicole...Logan is such a beauty...love the pics. such a good looking dog. He looks like a white snow leopard in the flower bed picture. He's gonna be a big boy! very

Thanks Zeela! He is a handful! But very worth it. He is now adjusting to our new house and his new yard. Sophie is boss, and has already made it her own ;)

I tried using some of those picture taking tips from your thread. Getting a little better at it :)
