  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Cazador, my Dogo Argentino has arrived...

For sure you can't expect every dog to like every dog. I know I don't like every person I meet and I don't expect any of my dogs to either.

I think that is where the "pack leader" nonsense has done the most damage to dogdom. Dogs have likes and dislikes just like people. They aren't simply state machines who respond mindlessly to a ridged pecking order. They're not drones, ya know?

Could not agree more! I believe this especially with Barron. I know he does not like to be disturbed while napping or sleeping and I respect that it is not something I have pushed or tried to train out of him. That is his persona and I don't blame him I myself dislike being awaken. Let sleeping dogs lay.

We have a rule around here with a our Kai Ken: "Never wake a sleeping Kai"... They hate being woken up abruptly. LOL

LOL, Brad I found out about Kai Ken dogs years ago, pretty impressive. A bit to "wild" for me from what I read. Like a "mini wolf" but I read these dogs are skilled hunters.

I think everything I have read and now heard on Kai Ken all I can picture is a Coyote.

For sure Kai have a "wildness" to them (it's even in the breed standard), but they are not that bad. They're wonderful companions. I love them.

Well some bad news on the Cazador front - he's got a pretty bad bite (overshot), so he'll be going back to his breeder next week. I'll be getting a replacement pup, his brother I think. Cazador 2.0

Oh No Brad. That's some bad luck. Hopefully the next one is better!

Ok, well, change of plans. I'm going to be keeping Caz afterall and neutering him. Then getting a replacement pup later this year. So no Caz 2.0, just 1.0... and I'll have to come up with another name for the new pup.
