Can pregnancy occur without a tie

I am noticing some bigger teets on my girl and I fear there may be an accidental pregnancy. Its only been a little over a month since she started her season. I kept them separate save for a few walks together and occasional potty breaks to the yard. My boy did try to constantly hump her but they never tied. I suppose a tie theorectically couldve happened while I was at work, but each where in their separate crates, which werent touching. What are the odds of a pregnancy even happening without a tie? am i overreacting to whats just growing/changing body of a growing dog

Are her teats full or just sagging? Many females get saggy during their heat and then tighten back up within a couple months.

I dont notice a sag. Just a tad bit more in length. The area around the teets are the same

After my females first heat she got saggy boobs lol, they have not gone away, even though she is in great health. There could also be a phantom pregnancy, some females will have them and even produce milk. You would know if a tie happened, is not a pretty thing on the bitches first go around.

No a tie doesn't have to happen for her to get pregnant but he does have to penetrate at least, it sounds unlikely based on what you have said. Female can experience something like a false pregnancy, where they will actually go through the motions as if pregnant, sometimes producing milk and collecting items like stuffed animals as babies. If she does go through that just keep an eye on her as some females can get a little testy during it as well. But that being said some female just have their bodies kind of relax during a heat cycle, often developing nipples and such.

She has been a little less than her normal super friendly self with my male. And actually been a little more affectionate towards me. Ive tried a few stuffed animals, they both tend to just rip them apart haha

My female who had pups last september came into heat in april this year, there was one time right at the begining of her of her accepting a male , they were left alone in the living room and i heard a commotion so i got up because i thought the bf was up with them, well i was wrong he was not out there with them so i was worried that they did the deed. And then a few days later we were in the living room and i went to do something in the kitchen and ask him to help me, all the dogs were sleeping. Seconds after he came in the kitchen i hear some commotion and go in there to find him on top of her , i yell and he gets off her.

So know im worried cause dont need anymore pups hahaha so fast forward almost 2 months from these incidents and now her boobs look bigger and she looks fatter and shes starting to nest under things and acting weird. No pregnancy thank goodness, it was a falsey so they can almost convince you they are pregnant with the way they act. My coonhound had a false pregnancy everytime she had a heat and she produced milk and protected one of her stuffies like it was her baby lol and she had never had puppies ever.
