Bullmastiffs can definately be agile...catching snowballs mid air!

Here is calvin in the first real snow of the year he was playing with my son catching snowballs. now I know as a guard dog they could pin a problem person down mid air...yikes

Awesome pics! At what age would you say they start to get a little more agile and a little less clumsy?lol

Calvin is 11 months.. He's on the smaller side 80 lb I try to keep his body condition more athletic..not sure if that has anything to do with it. I was surprised on how fast he is. He keeps up with some of the really quick moving dogs. From what I read from the beginnings thought he was going to be kinda big bulky and lazy..he's the opposite outside...yet he does love his bed while inside. I also know that it's not the best on their bones to allow them to go to nutty so we don't encourange tons,but sometimes he just lets loose in his own

They can be extremely fast & agile....in short bursts. A nap is usually required after physical activity, though. Gotta rest those wrinkles. :)
