I won't be able to get away with this much longer.

I don't think your "supposed" to bring dogs in Walmart but all he does is lay down and look around. Its funny many folks never notice, but when they do the look is priceless.

I've had a few folks ask me in Lowe's "are dogs allowed", I just smile and say "I think so". I always think to myself *my dog is better behaved than your kid, why can't he come in".. but I don't say that

You're gonna need a bigger buggie! LOL Our Lowes, Home Depot, Tractor Supply, Gander Mountain, Dicks Sporting Goods, and a few others allow pets. Its a great way to get a puppy used to crowds and loud places.

When I made my comment there was no post at all just the number 1 at the top. I would not take kona to Lowes. I think it's cool let you bring the pup in with you though

I'm jealous, I wanted to take Roly into a few of the pet friendly stores in town that weren't pet stores but he started peeing when he would meet strangers when he was about 3 months old. Obviously, when that new behavior popped up I couldn't risk taking him and having him "christen" one of the store's floors. I'm sure their pet friendly policy would be quickly rescinded if that were to occur :D I also fully agree with you about the poorly behaved children, it reminds me of a bumper sticker I have seen that says "My Border Collie (Golden, Poodle, ect.) is smarter than your honor student." Maybe you should get one saying "My Mastiff has better manners than your grade schooler."

I couldn't seem to get the pictures to load on the post correctly, I did that just to try an edit the post.

Kona's a Fila correct? Would she eat people lol?

LOL @ "Christening" in stores, we had a lab we would take to the pet store and they of course have floor display stacks of food. He thought it would be a grand idea to mark these as his own while I was looking off at something, needless to say I spent 20 mins cleaning up the bags of food. I can't remember what we did but we managed to break him of this.

The sticker you mentioned is hilarious, I know folks love their kiddo's.. as they should. Sometimes walking through stores I wonder if some parents need a "trainer" however. Then I also think there's a lot of fathers that need to step up and be men, but that subject will get me on a soap box.

I would keep bringing him until they said not to. Our Local DIY store loves Jade and has treats behind the counter. Everyone wants to be first to give her a goodie. Hmm wonder if it might be fear instead of adoration? LOL.

Our local greenhouse/nursery LOVES when puppies come to see them. Everytime we go it, they tell me to be sure to bring her back again soon. She LOVES it there. Lots of smiling, happy people.
The first time we went there, we hadn't gone more than 3 aisles, when word went out on the radio "cute puppy alert near the pansies" :)

The only place here that allows dogs, other than the pet stores, is this tiny little running store. I haven't taken Kryten in there yet because it is so tightly packed that I can imagine the havoc he could cause with the displays. I have taken Jiggers in and his tail does a pretty good job emptying some of the lower shelves.
