Well thats good to know. If all a person wants is a heavy dog they propbly dont need a dog.90lb aint no lap dog. In fact most people would consider that huge. hahaha. Health and happiness is what matters

Yep, I agree. Petey is about 90 now that he is a lazy senior (although my friend says he behaves like a puppy still...labs!) and he is quite big. I know he has the big, black dog syndrome when people see him and he has that bark we want. People often ask us if we have a bear when he is barking and they can't see him.:)

Oh but she IS a lap dog, and I love it! :) I had newfoundlands in the past that were about 175-180. Been there done that. The mastiff personality is very different. We are having a blast with my delicate petite flower. ;)

Eeek I try not to panic when I look at these weights Jagger just turned 14weeks yesterday and is only weighing in at 34lbs but he is sooo leggy and thin...the vet said he was perfectly healthy but he seems to stay 10lbs behind everyone on this thread :(

Back from our trip to the vet which is really quite comical as they both LOVE going and Stonewall knows the drill and immediately goes over and climbs on the scale. The draw back is he has gotten so big that if he isn't laying just right it seems to be under, but since I don't convert to pounds till I get home I never know to ask to reweigh, so this week I am sure is off, as there is no way he has only gained a pound in 2 weeks.

Stonewall;
1 weeks= - 2 pounds 6 oz
2 weeks - 2 pounds 11 oz
3 weeks - 4 pounds

Natsan6... Don't panic! Our EM pup Grady was only 9lbs when we got him! Yes, 9lbs at 8 weeks. He has since gained normally (3-5lbs a week) and looks great and is now a nice lean 80lbs and just turned 7 months. I wouldn't worry! They grow for almost 2 years! I don't think our Grady will be a huge mastiff but he won't be scrawny either. I am always bewildered by some of the weight charts. Be happy to have a lean, healthy mastiff... the lighter they are, the easier on the joints! ;)

I tend to believe it. The vet raises dobermans so is used to big dogs. Add to that she is consistently ten pounds below any other dog i see listed here and was a third smaller than the sibling we saw when I picked her up I do think she is going to be small. I'm totally ok with it as long as she is healthy!

I bet she'll get over 100... she weighed more at 10 and 12 weeks than Branka and she's 95lbs now and just turned 10 months!

Daisy IS a delicate petite flower but I think the vet may have been off with her estimate of 90 lbs.

10.5 wks - 21.4
12 wks - 26.3
14 wks - 31.7
15 wks - 33.7
16 wks - 36.7
18 wks - 43.6
20 wks 48.5
21 wks 53.0

She has another month before she hits six months. Isn't the rule of thumb about double their weight at 6 months? She is a very lean girl so I know she has lots of filling out to do.IMG_0381.jpg
