Bathing frequency

So my CC girl likes to roll in all manner of things outside. Mud. Dirt. Chicken poop. You get the idea. So she tends to get smelly and dirty frequently. She lives inside, so how often can she safely get a bath and what is the best/gentlest bathing product for Her skin?
Thanks in advance!

I try to bathe mine as infrequent as I can. I know it's tough with big dogs who tromp through everything. That's where a good hose down helps. So mine get bathed like once a month. I do use a flea and tick shampoo. It's Oster flea and tick lavender. It smells great. We leave it on for 5 min. and thankfully it keeps the fleas and ticks away. We haven't had to use any other flea products.

I only bathe a few times a year. Everyone always remarks on how great their coats look and I believe it's because of the natural oils that aren't getting stripped away. Mine do not, however, have chicken poo to roll in, lol. I think it's dependent upon the individual dog. If you have to bathe frequently, I'd use something mild. Like an oatmeal shampoo. If you see that her skin and coat is getting dry, try to cut back on the baths. Maybe give a dry shampoo a try? I used to make one, but it wasn't for use on really dirty dogs. Kind of just as an in between bath refresher.

I made my own oatmeal shampoo and gave that a try. She's super soft and doesn't seem to be itchy like when I used actual shampoo. It has coconut oil in it too to help. She doesn't ️smell overly fragranced or stinky, just fresh.

I only bath when I have to, before shows and once before winter and once in the spring just to get he loose hair out and the coats cleaned up.
