Bad breath?

Do you have any ideas for bad breath? CeCe is a two year old rescue from a crappy breeder, I have had her for about a month. I was feeding her Nutri Source dog food. Then switched to Fromm. Her teeth have just been cleaned, they are in good shape. Her breath is extra not good. Any great ideas? Does brushing really help? Even if her teeth are just cleaned? Thank you in advance.

Have you tried adding probiotics and digestive enzymes?

It could be something sitting in the stomach just not-digesting... and getting burped back up.

If the teach are clean and nothing's stuck in her mouth causing the stinkiness... I don't think brushing is helping any for the bad breath. Since we feed raw - including some bone-in meats (raw lamb or pork ribs most of the time), I don't brush Denna's teeth ever. Her breath doesn't smell at all - other than right after meal time, when she gets fish... but, that's understandable :)

We use a product from onlynaturalpet called "GI Support" that helps all sorts of GI issues.

My vet informed me at my last visit ...brushing the teeth of Chev would help a lot with the breath situation, which can take the paint off walls. She told me to brush just the fronts of the teeth, not the tops or behind the teeth. Interestingly, Chev's teeth in the back look like a cross between Christmas trees and the Alps. I have not tried the brushing yet, and Chev might not cooperate...despite the toothpaste flavored like the mailman's ankle and the toothbrush cost me a bunch. Bummer. Have a wonderful day, dog folks.
