Back from Arizona

My bride and I took a 12 day trip to the land of much sun...10 days of clear skies, only to return to our rainy Pennsylvania to rake leaves. It is good to be home, nice as the vacation was. We enjoyed the "Caravan" (brand name) tour of the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Sedona, Zion Park and a few other places. Like always as you know, it is good to go and good to be home. I didn't fall of the edge of the earth as some of you suspected. Find attached a picture of a raven (bigger than a crow and not as argumentative) in the Grand Canyon, and the huge rocks of Zion National Park. Have a great week, all my MF friends.Raven.jpg zion 5.0.jpg

I've been to Flagstaff. It is gorgeous! Love your pics. What a great shot of that raven

Thanks, April my friend. We flew into Phoenix, and it was really hot...especially in the sun of all things. The parks were much cooler. The raven was on the sidewalk by a building, and as we walked by, he hopped into that tree....he wasn't too awfully far from me...anyway...thanks. Ravens are a busy bird up there in the canyon. CU

Awesome pictures! Arizona is definitely on my list when it comes to preferred destinations. I wouldn‘t mind living in the desert.

You should launch an exchange program! UK-US and US-UK. Mastiff forum members taking each others spot for four weeks. Like student exchange ;)

If I suddenly have "deeper pockets" than I do right now, we can do that US-UK exchange program. It was breathtaking, for sure. Zion National Park is just amazing. Once on a trip previous to this one, we went to Tombstone Nevada to watch a reenactment of the OK Corral gunfight. We toured the cemetery (Here lies Lester Moore, shot 4 times with a .44, No Les No Moore.) on a tombstone there. It was hot and windy. We drove to Flagstaff, April, and there was snow on the ground !!
We attended an Easter Sunrise Service on the edge of the Grand Canyon, a memorable event, and then went other places. Thanks for all your complements. And...thankfully.....I am back. Merry Christmas, all.
