Hi everyone! I'm new to the site and just uploaded a few pictures but can't figure out how to get an Avatar using my dog's picture. Any help is appreciated!

I didn't but I just did and it worked. But I thought by doing that, my profile picture would change as well or is that something different?

Im having a heckuva time uploading a picture for my avatar. Im using tinypic.com to resize but transferring that url to the avatar in my profile, I keep getting invalid url message. I think it's something to do with the

Can you save the avatar to your comp and upload it that way?

It is on my comp. but its huge so I sent it to tinypic to resize to avatar size. i use that program for mosta my pictures.

I dont know how i suck at computers....i figured out how to upload a photo into my email so clap clap clpa for me yay but the avatar im stumpred

You should be able to right click the mouse button while the pointer is over the photo you want to save. Right click - "save as" and then you can save it where you want to on your computer.

Almost forgot to clap for you figuring out how to attach a photo in your email. clap clap clap

but i did like you said, right click over the picture and save as (shudda known that, i just go blank sometimes)...
