Are CC's night prowlers?

Just curious to ask all you experienced Cane Corso owners...are they night prowlers? Zeela seems to wake up at night. I know my work schedule is day & I spend the most time with her at night. However, she seems to want to prowl and play more at night even when I am home all day on the weekends. I get it as I prefer the night time too. Just wondering if they are more night predators...she seems to be lazier during the day.

Being they are a guardian breed, I would say so. Have you noticed her going walk by the doors and windows at night?

Oh yes, absolutely, I live in a 2 family house on the 2nd fl & she barks at any sound down the stairs and goes by the door and she is definitely guarding me. It's really kool. I never worry about locking my door anymore.

That's great! She's doing her job :)
I know, it's great. My first time with a protective breed and it is mind blowing to me. Amazingly amazing this breed is! I know during the day she is just waiting for me to get home and she never leaves my side at home nor will she stay in the yard without me and if I let her off the leash, she doesn't go anywhere. The night thing is definite, I saw that when I first brought her home, we are meant to be together as I am night prowler as well. :D

Wait until the first time someone knocks at the door or rings the bell unexpectedly. They are rockets getting there and the fearlessness comes out. My Poodles make a racket and stand back but the CC is right at the door.

I could only imagine. The door knock is not what worries me, my doorbell is loud as hell, I should disconnect it. lol...

What's very interesting is our walks at night, she acts differently than our walks during the day. She seems to be more alert and walks like she's hunting something.

It's the guardian in her. I'm already noticing it w Logan. At night he acts different, very on guard when I take him to potty. The first 2 nights he was kinda scared. But last night he heard something and instead of shrinking back, he went toward the noise to investigate, and even as a pup, I can see the guardian in him.

My 3 are always alert, definatly more at dark, they seem to patrol the perimeter more at night when i let them out and they do a deep grumble.

I saw all the white and from what I was told the euro imports had more white like mine also. Mine however is Ukraine and Portugal, not Italy. When I leave for Morocco, I will be sure to check out some of these in Italy. Even though we are probably getting a Germany GSD as our second dog.

Those CC look awesome!

My DDB broke everything with his tail, glasses anything on the coffee tables. We were happy to get a CC with no tail, also doesn't snore quite as much as our DDB although I was very used to that and I actually miss it.

I will check where the mother was from, i like the white on them, i love this breed, i really had to think about having 3 but we always had 2 to 3 rotties, they fit together well, i had to work through there changing testosretone levels as they matured both gandalf and gollom tried challenging bud, it never worked hes top in the dog pack, id love to get a video of them working together gaurding if they think its a threat, im very happy with them. In yrpears to come i will import if i find some im happy with,
