Anyone know about Merckle's Hilltop Mastiffs in Ohio?

I still don't get how nobody has heard anything too horrible about this breeder. I thought I would post and people would tell story after story of being ripped off.

I might ask her if I could pay a bit more for one of her dogs. I think she is being greedy by asking so little for her dogs; I think paying her $3000 would teach her a good lesson.

I too bought have bought dishes from church bazaars and now think they must be stolen merchandise. Never trust those greedy old church ladies.

With that extra $2000 maybe she can start health testing. Or maybe she will be able to buy a quality dog while it's a puppy. By the way...I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale. Discounted price of $1000.

Great ideas. I hope she finds good uses for the money.

P.S. I will PM you about the bridge. I am very interested.

OP apparently this wasn't the only forum you inquired about this breeder and I see you even found a "ripoff report" on them. Members there specified the exact same thoughts as members here. There's probably more people who have her dogs out there just have to search really hard.

Actually, there is really only about 20 to 30 very active people on this board, that check most threads and bother to reply. Only a small % of these own EM's. No surprise that no one has dealt with them personally. Good or bad!

You went to another forum to ask this same question, and after reading through the responses you were given, I believe you were given basically the safe info there that we tried to give you here in the beginning. I hope you find the pup you are looking for.

I am basically new to the EM world so I have bever heard of her or know anyone that does. I have been looking for another EM myself and personally from what I see, I think I would skip her as a choice for mine but I am a believer in trusting your intuition and beng comfortable with what you hear. Not everyone on here or everyone that owns an EM is looking for the same thing in a breeder or pup. Personally, I would have no problem paying less for an EM....I wouldn't mind at all and the price of the puppies doesn't bother me or give me red flags BUT the amount of litters she is producing puts me off a bit.

Did you decide what to do? Good Luck in your search.

For the record, I have actually sold brand new set of expensive dishes for nearly nothing in a yard sale and I did NOT steal them. I ordered them online, decided they were a must have and then decided to change the look to something else and because I NEVER bother to follow through with returning items, They ended up in a yard sale where someone got one hell of a deal on them. Also, I want to take a look at that third vehicle........BIG discount....Worth checking out in my opinion. :)

I never planned to buy a pup from this operation. I ran into them while researching pedigrees. If she could be trusted to breed the dogs she said she was I would have bought a dog or two from one litter; it turns out she can't even be trusted to do that. There are other girls out there available to buy. I was thrown off because the lady owned dogs from people I respect. I figured if they knew their dogs were there she knew the right people and was probably decent.. it turns out they didn't know dogs were there.

Never seriously considering breeder but just asking if people had real world dealings with her. I asked on other forums too because I actually wanted information. I didn't know it was a problem to ask in more than one place.

^^^^ I ask everything on numerous forums and facebook groups. In a case like this the more info and input the better in my opinon. No problem at all :)

I see nothing wrong in utilizing more than one source of info; I think many of us do it to gather as much information as possible sometimes. I sincerely hope you find the pup you're looking for :)
