Ive been in correspondence with the owner of the kennel via the email on his website

http://www.correnti.hu

Ive seen him and his dogs on youtube on his youtube channel and winning some shows. Dogs are beautiful.

Even still, just want to avoid getting played somehow buying a dog from overseas.

Any and all feedback would be much appreciated.

The dogs in those first videos... they look uncomfortable in their own skin. :( Even some of the dogs being shown had limps... the spines didn't look right in a few of the dogs in the second video.
I get the idea of wanting a dog just like Hagrid's dog, Fang... but I would think those pups would be a health nightmare. :(

The dogs working in the video Marke posted are amazing! Big AND able to move!

A lot of the really typy looking neos are severely inbred--lots of genetic disorders, health problems, and short lives. Show quality does not equate to health and functionality. There are some neos that are typy and perfectly fine health-wise, but I would guess that's more the exception than the rule.

My neo isn't even that heavily wrinkled, but he still has major problems with his eyes. A neo with even more wrinkles will undoubtedly have cherry eyes and/or entropion. (It's sad how cherry eye is now just expected in the breed now.)

I'm glad you're trying to find out more about the breeder before you buy one of his pups though. I imagine it will be difficult trying to find someone in the US who has a pup from this specific breeder in Hungary. Hope you find the answers you're looking for.

That is the great thing about dogs. Not only are there different breeds for us to choose from, but there are different styles of dogs within a breed. To each his own. For me, this is a perfect Neo
