Here is another Female that I acquired a while back. Her name is Lidia B. Leoas de Chacara. She was bred by a good friend and breeder Claudio. She has a few mths to make two yet.

Nice looking dog. Is the white collar in the standard? I haven't seen it on a Fila before, not that I have seen that many of them. I really like it though. How big is she?

the white is accepted by the standard that only allows pure filas...(CAFIB), lol. Actually I dont know much about the CBKC standard but if I remember correctly they consider white markings on other the chest tip of tail and toes faults. In the CAFIB standard the white markings are allowed and IMO give the dog a "farm dog/historical" look like found in the old pictures of filas. Thank you much for your comments.

I definitely like the white markings...sorry but i wish the cane corso would allow more white markings...i have seen some beautiful cane corso with white on the face...

yes, I agree. The historical dogs (Corso) had white markings in/on faces and is still fairly common in the breed. Although is a fault / DQ.
I think she is beautiful with the markings

I like the white markings as well. unlike in the Cane Corso it is not a DQ in either standard, it is a fault in the CBKC standard and that amount of marking makes no difference in the CAFIB standard at all. MANY filas are born with alot of white markings and now has become only a matter of taste.
