Allergies?

I have a Bull Terrier who has allergies. He's on a grain free, wheat free, no chicken or beef kibble. He's also on an allergy shot regimen.

We found the Nature's recipe and her favorite is the sweet potato and Fish. The vet seemed actually pretty pleased with it honestly. He wasn't a fan of it at first and likes how it has filled her out and wants her to stay on it. She was on Eagle pack i guess it was ok, just really really expensive. I was just curious if it was common for the large breeds to have allergies. When we adopted Storm they were pretty sure we didn't want her anymore because she did have allergies.

I was just curious if it was common.

Awarness of allergies are becoming more commonplace, as pet owners and vets are becoming more concerned for their pet's needs and health. My BT can't have potatoes either.
