How old is Buck? How's he been eating and eliminating?

Couple things to think about too, he just left his litter mates, he's in a new house and you aren't momma yet. They're going to be a little bummed at first.
My boy took a couple weeks to fully warm up to me and my wife. We got him when he was 12 weeks old, so that could cause a little more seperation issues with his family. He's a part of our family now 100%.

EM pups love to sleep, no question there. I wouldn't worry too much about it right now, it sounds pretty normal to me.

Edit:
Duh, just noticed to said his age! Sorry.

I would believe he's ok as well. Pups sleep a lot, and as mentioned he probably needs to settle into a normal routine. Out of curiosity how big is he?

Yepp I agree, Its normal for a pup to sleep and he is just settling in to his new family.

Almost 12 weeks & 25 Lbs, hmm.. Doesn't seem too far off from the "norm".

If he is eating/drinking I would not worry too much about it however, if you notice that he's not eating get him into a vet. As others stated, the sleeping frequency is normal. Also, as they go through growth spurts they will have days where they do not eat but that usually only lasts a day maybe a day and a half. Anything beyond that I would not take risks and have them checked out.
