a.counter heigth butt... will he even out!

Sully will be 8 months on the 16th, he now sports a counter heigth butt....I finally got a pic that shows just how much higher.in the rear he is!... Will he even out? Or destined to look like a hot rod? He has never been this slopey before!

At that age they grow in an uneven 'teeter-totter' fashion -- typically the bum gets heigher, then the withers/shoulders catch up, etc.-- hence I think Sully will even our eventually. I have to say though, that I don't think the difference between Boris's front and bum was ever greater than 2 1/2 inches.

One of my English Mastiffs was that way when she was 8 months to about a year and 1/2 but now she's 2. It still slopes but not much at all, so it eventually even out.

I dont really care that much, as conformatiom shows are not in our future, but if he doea even out it starts to give me an idea of just how big he will get.

Lol I know what you mean. My two EM's were the runts of littler at 145 & 160 lbs. There father 225 and was well over six feet tall when he stood on his hind legs. Quite the monster!!
