I've been thinking about carrying the taser I have at home which says 2 mil volts on the box. Would it be a good idea to carry it and use it if I needed to against another dog say 50lbs+? By god I don't want to kill any dog, but I have been encountering a lot of loose dogs lately on our walks now the weather is nicer. Latest incident was when I was walking both Buddy and Hector and we encountered a lady and her off lead dog. Before the dog came to see us, the lady said oh my dog is off leash, but she's nice -.-. I yelled "mine are not!" as I walked by and the dog followed us....Of course I had to hold my dogs back and I'm thinking god darmit and prepared for a blood bath and some broken bones. Luckily, nothing happened because the dog was not confrontational and offered lots of calming signals. Instead of pulling my dogs away, I just sat and stayed them (thank god for ob practice) as the lady kept screaming for her dog.....I mean why would you let your dog off leash when you can't even recall your dog? lol...
