8 Months since my boy has been gone

Hello fellow Cane Corso owners. Gene here in AZ.

My male left me about 8 months ago. He made it to the ripe old age of 10 before his hips completely gave out and he broke his shoulder. Couldn't stand to see him in that pain and had to help him go peacefully. I got him when he was 10 weeks.

I have a 4yr old female now which he pretty much raised like his own from the time she was 12 weeks. I would love to get another male in our home. Young or Adult.

I just wanted to see if anyone could steer me in the right direction to finding a Rescue, Adopt or Foster type situation. Im not looking to spend $2-3k on a dog right now. My last 2 have been the greatest dogs ive ever had and one was free providing I had her surgery performed and my male was $400 back before most people in the US were really talking about Cane Corsos.

I saw in here yesterday about a CC in a high kill shelter in the LA area cropped ears but a natural tail.

Sorry to hear about your boy. There is a Cane Corso rescue that I think you can google, they also have a facebook page and are always looking for great homes.

I would check out Cane Corso rescue like Mary said. They can help with transportation and they get some sweet dogs that need a good home.
