8 month old male - fears the strangest things

  1. You’re Lupo looks just like our Righteous - I crate him when we aren’t here (he got a hold of our brand new couch when we first got him) but he’s been a lot better lately - I can at least go work out in the yard and typically he just goes into his hidey house in the bedroom. But 8 hours while I’m at work ??? Uhhhh I don’t trust him that much yet... I Kep reminding myself that I wouldn’t leave any 9 month old by themselves no matter what dog they are lmao

  3. How is she with people coming into the house? He’s mostly fine, but for some reason sketchy as hell with my elderly father in law

I disconnected the doorbell because when that thing rang, she did like a screaming bark and very loud, almost gave me a heart attack and made her crazy. Anyway, If there's a knock on the door she is all over it, hair standing up, barking....but I say it's okay, look who it is, say Hello....and then she's fine. She's adapted to people. I'm not sure what she would do if an intruder came in, pretty much she would not let them. I'd be scared, she's very protective. Sometimes they just don't like someone and that's that.

Oh yeah, I just remembered, I had a painter come to paint my living room. He came and met her at the estimate. I said, she should be fine because she met you and I don't work too far away should you need me to come home.
So, anyway, he went in and she was not having it, she did not attack him but she would not go near him and kept growling and pacing around so he waited outside until I went home and got them acquainted. lol.
She did her job - she's a guard dog. I always tell her - have a good day doing your job guarding our home! ha!!!

  6. He did that yesterday in the yard, with the neighbor across the street that was in his shed.. he barked, hair stood up, I said it’s okay and let him watch for a minute and then said come on.. he whined after we walked away. Part of him is curious and the other part is guardy and then the other part is scared. My husband works in our garage a lot (he’s a mechanic) and lately Righteous has been obsessed with going in.. scared to death but wants to see what’s up and watch for a minute or 2 lol.

That's good. He will be your husband's pal in the garage.
