5 month old CC still hiccuping frequently. Normal?

Hey everyone :)
My Austen has been a frequent hiccuper since the day he joined the family. But now that he's 5 months it just seems strange that he still gets them everyday. Our vet said its normal but he always reffered to him as a 'special dog' and didn't care to elaborate. Any experiences or suggestions would be appreciated!.
He drinks copious amounts of water daily also. He is on a great diet and isn't over or underfed. I notice he gets them after he's been laying down for a while. He is happy and full of energy and stools are always firm. Just want to be safe, and consider seeing a different vet. He didn't know what a cane corso is :-/

I can't remember where I saw it but I remember reading that hiccups can be caused by rapid growth. Kryten routinely got them until 8-9 months old.

Absolutely! They will do it unil about age 1. We were worried with our first couple em boys, but after the second now just laugh and say he is growing!
