I fostered a pit bull mix pup @ about 1 week old. Eyes were not opened yet. I bottle fed until eyes opened and pup started to move fairly well on his own. ( Can't remember how much) But I do remember it was approx every 2 to 3 hours, he didn't take much at first. When he could stand I gave him milk replacer& goats milk, eventually goats milk & soft food. May have been around 4 to 5 weeks. He did really well, I treated him as a human baby by nurturing him with love! I contacted my vet for random questions!
He is now 3 years old and he is in a great home doing amazing!
