12 wk english mastiff pup won't eat

Proper cal/ phos is 1.3/.9 right? I looked at taste of the wild. The lowest ratio I found was in the lamb at 1.6/1.0. Wondering if that is alright? Actually their puppy food has lower than that and lower protein but I won't be tempted. I Might get some of this against breeders wishes. Sorry I'm bein anal

I'll give you a list of a few foods but if you have questions or need more choices let me know! Earthborn Holistics Great Plains Feast, Coastal Catch or Meadow Feast, Acana Pacifica, Orijen 6 Fish or Blue Buffalo Wilderness Duck or Salmon are all good, appropriate food choices. You do have to do a slow transition from whatever food they were on before. That looks like this: 3-5 days of 75% old, 25% new 3-5 days of 50% old, 50% new 3-5 days of 25%, 75% new and finally you can go to 100% new.

I would say, it is now your pup and you can feed the pup whatever you want to feed the pup. If it will help the pup to eat, then it the best step to take. You are not being anal.

Slow transition to the new food is as follows to prevent diarrhea. If at any time during the transition, the pup has diarrhea return to previous amounts of food per feeding.

Amount per feeding:

Day 1-4 ¾ cup of old food and ¼ cup of new food.

Day 5-9 ½ cup of old food and ½ cup of new food.

Day 10-14 ¾ cup of new food and ¼ cup of old food

Day 15 Start 100% of new food

The TOTW "puppy" food is an all life stages food and is appropriate for growing mastiffs.
