10 surprising human foods dogs can eat

It was funny reading through this. I have a female who ONLY begs at the table when we have sweet potatoes. I am glad they are good for her. The only food she has ever snatched from the counter has been sweet potatoes. It is like she is obsessed. Raw or cooked, she loves them.

I agree with the commenter who said "my dog will eat anything that doesn't eat her first".
:)

Sweet potatoes are also one of her favorites. I dehydrate them into chips to use as treats.

Gave me some more ideas, thanks. Zoe LOVES watermelon, apples and carrots. I will have to try some sweet potatoes for her.

haha that is funny I just gave watermelon to Barron last night. He took his time with it but did come back for seconds. It was a hit! He loves sweet potatoe too but it has to be cooked.

I mix a couple of tablespoons of canned sweet potato (not the pie filling type) in our Bullmastiff's food once or twice a day. She loves it and it helps maintain firmness with her stools.

Franklin will eat everything on that list, but I always thought popcorn was bad for dogs.

Popcorn's ok, though small dogs might have trouble with kernals and the toppings are at least as bad for the dogs as they are for us.

I do home-made cheesy "Smart food" type popcorn and Arty'll do damn near anything to get his share lol.
