Hello Mastiff owners, I have an 8 month old Tibetan mastiff x Boerboel he has had another growth spurt recently and is 67cm at the withers. His dad was a TM and his mom a BB. What I have noticed from searching for the height of a Tibetan mastiff is that many places say different things. Google says 76cm max, many places say 71cm max, Wikipedia says 83cm max, and the breed standard says that there is no maximum height for a TM. Does anyone know the maximum height that a TM can reach?

I don’t have any experience with the Tibetan breed although with our Boerboel we’ve used the charts only as a reference. Having known her sire and dam, we are able to have pretty good idea of where she’ll fall in weight, height, etc at 2 years. I’m not sure if this helps but your pup sounds like his growth spurt is right on point just looking at charts for both breeds. Again, knowing the parents would be the best guide. I'd bet 6 foot or better when extended on a privacy fence.. LOL..
