Bella is turning into quite the beauty! Love her face! Enjoy reading the daily adventures on the farm. What is a potato “factory”? Thanks for sharing!

Dstack, our potato factory consisted of 12 pallets that contained the pooey hay from the cows in which the potatos were laid down.. As the potato plants grew more hay was added so that just some of the plant was visable.. The hay went from about a foot deep to about 3 feet deep.. Inside all that hay was potatoes.. The pics of such I tried to load were too big for here

So after dinner this evening we watered the greenhouse, Bella goes bonkers running thru it from either N to S or vice versa.. The floor is a painted sheet metal, it is slick and I laugh my tookus off when she has wrecks.. Then we had time to sweep out the cattle trailer, OH and more good times.. She developed a fondness for chasing the broom and of course since I was on the end of it the broom bristles were often in her a$$.. So when it wasn't in her tail or sweeping she was chasing it and I had her leaping out of the back of trailer..20200929_191336(0).jpg 20200929_191331(0).jpg

6 yo lowline angus cow with her coming 2 yo heifer the cow is 42-43 " tall and the heifer roughly 39" both bred to a 44" bull.. The 00 frame size cattle are very easy on the land.. Of course the cuts of beef are smaller but the smaller muscles lead to a more tender beef too..

Bella went to Tractor supply this evening, know what she was not too keen on ? Peoples masks, lol, she did take a scratching from 2 folks while we there with no masks.. She wanted no part of any masked person.. The girl at the register had a treat and because she was masked Bella was not having it..20201005_194042.jpg 20201005_194040.jpg

The older she got the more tolerant and laid back she became.. It got to the point the chickens would steal her food while her face was in the bowl..
Whether your raising kids, grand kids or dogs life experience makes them all the better.. Our then 11 yo grand daughter that can do what 18 yo can't do..IMG_5788.JPG IMG_20171216_161858.jpg

Again, you've made my day with your pictures and your stories. All of your animals are beautiful. I have a soft spot for the oldsters and especially enjoyed those pictures.

Good deal BG, they sure are more sediment when they get older.. But them 2 were Velcro to the end, I almost felt bad going to the back of the property sometimes as it took them a while to get there.. Puppies are a pita, but so long as your molding them you'll be happy with the kid later on.. Bella is doing good, stubborn she is and extremely energetic, darn good thing she didn't end up in an apartment.. She heels well, sits and downs but stay still needs work.. She stays out for the most part but we often let her in to watch us eat dinner.. LOL, cruel huh... Then she gets fed twice daily.. Her breakfast is 1 cup science diet pup and 2 eggs over easy in butter, dinner is a cup of dog food and who knows what.. Right now there is chicken in the fridge for a topping, next week she might have tortalinni soup with meatballs or something.. Currently 19 inches at the shoulder and wee bit taller rump.. Ya'll may know this is basically her dairy for myself and anyone else who cares to partake, I'll be able to hopefully come here years from now and relive the past in this page..
