Sorry been busy with work, he’s growing like a bad weed. Gus is doing well. His training is going good, he has learned down( only with treats) and he will catch Doritos in the air depending on my aim too. I have to separate him and Georgia, Gus play fights way to rough, I thought Georgia was going to kill him a couple of days ago. She didn’t hurt him, only put him in his place.

I had to change his food also, he was bitting at his skin and loose stool. He’s good now he is on beef and brown rice now. Btw raw pumpkin is awesome, I learned that here, smiles.

No worries, thanks for the update. He surely grows fast. I know that finding the right food can be challenging. I‘m glad everything seems to be working out fine now.

No I’m 6’5” and 305 myself so my bathroom scales max out with both of us. I need to get a tote and weigh him for sure. I really don’t want my wife or kids trying to weigh him either, he’s pretty heavy now.

I see. If there is a vet office close by, you may want to take him there. Most of them allow you to use their scales even outside of regular check up appointments etc. I'm not meaning to scare you, but he's probably going to be a big drooler! Just speaking from experience. He reminds me a lot of our boy.

Gus is so pretty. Love his fawn color. Our EM mix was fawn and had the black mask. How is Gus and Georgia getting along? Is she getting used to the new guy? She is beautiful also. I enjoy seeing the pics of her.

New collar today, he out grew the breeders collar. Was going to get him a black one, the como matched his colors though. I keep his food in the tote he is next to, when he is hungry he will go set beside it. I am going to start calling him elephant ears, lol.

She does correct him then looks at us to make sure she didn’t do something wrong, or looking at us for help. We will correct Gus then he plays but much gentler. She really enjoys play time until he gets a little rough. She really is a great dog. I believe they are good for each other, Gus is a fast learner, he has toned it down some already.

View attachment 60125 All went well, all the playing and excitement wore him out. He slept from about 830pm to 830am, he whimpered once for about 3minutes. He ate breakfast and done his business, played a bit, got some leash lessons this morning. So on a hummerous note, my Greater Swiss Mtn. Dog is in season, and at 11 weeks he is full aware, of course the GSMD thinks he is silly...he follows her around a lot. They play a lot too. Her bed is next to his crate, I think that helped the transition as well.

Oh my lanta. What an adorable couple. Makes me want to jump thru this screen and get lots of those big wet doggy kisses. Beautiful!!!

He is such a good looking EM .... reminds me of Bella’s dad. You’re doing a great job on him. Keep up the training used all the treats you have too eventually you’ll be able to give commands with out the treats.
