My boy is 4 months and 56 pounds I currently feed 3 cups of taste of the wild 3 times a day is that two much ? he eats it all and still looks for more but hes not fat can still see two ribs. just don't want to be over doing it and end up having complications down the line.

It is really hard to say a exact amount for a mastiff breed, it is best to go by body condition than any measurement and go from there.

I always recommend asking your breeder and/or vet about feeding recommendations. The breeder knows best because they are familiar with the growth rate of the litter.

Based on thhe description of your dog‘s body condition, this seems to be the right amount for him. It‘s really difficult to say because of the variety of factors that come into play. We feed our 5 months old EM about 7 1/2 - 8 cups per day. He weighs 74 pounds.

We have a 5 month old female CC. She eats 3 cups in the morning and 3 at night. She will quit eating on her own and often times doesn't finish it all. Other times she can't get to the food fast enough. Sounds like you're right on track.

Sorry, I was actually rounding in terms of age when I posted this. He‘s 5 months old today (DOB 8/21/2017). His weight is at ~84 pounds, but he‘s pretty lean.

That's great to hear. I'm sure his weight is absolutely fine considering both age and breed.

I'm not really a food expert, and we've tried various types and brands. Our EM loves the Royal Canine brand although reviews are generally mixed. Taste of the Wild has worked very well, too. So far, we've been feeding puppy formulas, but I'm planning to switch to adult at 6 months (in about 4 weeks from now).
