Eye problems (Entropion??) 2 yr old Corso. Help!!

HI everyone... I have a 2 yr old male corso. We have literally been to the vet every other month for ear infections and now his eye(s). Originally the vet wasn't to concerned there was no color and no odor. After a few more visits (with his ears) I kept asking about his eye. They looked around and really found nothing but thought maybe something with plasmic ( I don't recall the exact words). I was sent home with a steroid eye drop. Had his follow up and still no change and in fact it seemed worse (redness). Now they did the whole check up again and even looked under his 3rd eyelid and found no loose hairs or anything that seemed to bother it. However he has an ulcer starting. We had to stop with the steroid drop and go on an antibiotic drop for a week 3x's a day. Still no change .. in fact now his other eye is getting bad.. He paws at them and its constantly leaking and blinking.. I have to get to the root of this I feel so helpless. Im thinking it may be Entropion?? Has anyone else had these problems????

Entropion and cataracts are easily seen especially by a vet. Ear infections can cause eye infections. I would take the pup to an eye specialist.

caught young enough it's a very simple fix for a vet opthamol0gist ......it's surprising to develop in a 2 yr old dog , at least any I've had or seen ....even so it is fixable , make sure you have it done by an eye doctor ...... it'd also odd the vet couldn't definitely diagnose it .........

Thank you. We have him on a waiting list (for an eye specialist) they are scheduling a month out. I wasn't told it was entropion. I just don't believe its just an ulcer and it is now in both eyes and with meds its just getting worse. In fact today the ulcer that was white now is red. I know the ears and eyes are connected when it comes to infections. In fact so far his ears have been good these past 2 weeks but again he is on otomax once a week for it.

I agree.. Im not sure if it is Entropion just the symptoms seem more to match. This just sucks.. I don't know what else to do for him...
