Cafib Fila Brasileiro disgruntled breeder letter

Great translated portion of a letter from a Cafib breeder with blood from some of the most respected Cafib lines. It is so refreshing to see someone from inside this group show it for what it is, hypocrytical bull mess. Sometimes the truth hurts.

My purpose in writing is to answer and comment, as far as possible certain aspects that have been discussed in these e-mails and at the time, trying to open people's eyes. I would like to tell a little of my story regarding the CAFIB: I had my first contact with breeders Cafibianos Francisco in 1993 and Fernando Zanetti Peltier and later I met on a trip to Brazil in 1996. Not much later, Fernando Zanetti our club was invited to judge the rows in a Monograph Contest; invitation he accepted, obviously, and this time visited my kennel. I say that only with the intention of making known to know these and many other cafibianos many years and have had the opportunity to have many contacts with them and know their organization up close. The CAFIB have a rant, bombastic, ... designed to seduce people fond of Fila Brasileiro. This club, for subsistence needs a constant and huge advertising where they get to sell that idea. His opponent is the FCI, a giant before which they would not have the slightest chance of not adopting the position taken at the outset. This strategy is to try to sell an image of themselves which they can transmit that are large figures, full of wisdom and knowledge and total commitment to the race. One of the main tools that they use is challenging dogs that do not belong to your association and accuse them of miscegenation. From this we have seen many over the years and we keep a lot of documentation. Behind seeking seeking convey that image and I mentioned before are these grandiose titles as "Father of the Race", "Father of CAFIB", "The 10 Commandments" (this is already the most) and the most recent figures Tio Chico creation with its invasion of e-mails or the addition of Fernando Zanetti to that position created for him as director of outreach and increasingly persistent presence on the forums. I think perhaps the CAFIB, Elio exhausted Reef Quirós and some others that have been conveniently used by them in recent years, has had the need to draw on this new figure that now pervades the forums and not with that attitude qualify breaks into any discussion by seeing others who are ignorant and presenting himself as a repository of all knowledge or just bitterly criticizing the dog that seems while remaining conveniently blind before presenting other problems. As I see it, they need to strike any idea, activity, breeder, etc., that does not serve their interests and to enjoy the respect of any segment of the race fans, because they see it as a threat to their interests .

Not a Fila person, but I always find it interesting when just a portion of an e-mail is posted, the large majority of the time it seems to be taken out of context. Would be interesting to see the letter in it's entirety or even better the e-mail conversation, to really know what the author is talking about and in what sense. This however is just my opinion having seen this exact thing happen over and over in my own breed, only to learn the "real" topic was something completely different then the half post intended.

I got a feeling that Zanetti criticized the person's dog(s)!! people do not generally take that too well if you didn't notice.

To get to the bottom of it would require a group of other evaluators to also make a judgement that is public and detailed.

Hmmm, please state who this "CAFIB Breeder" is. Oh and while you are at it please post the string of messages as it really looks like you are posting half a story on purpose so others dont get to see the truth.

BTW just back to say hello and call bullshit on you yet again. Have fun trying to deflect and spin this... it will take some doing.

Ha! What a bunch of instigators!! The truth is I belive I remember some of this story and if its the same story that I think it is then it is from a non cafib breeder who had both types, mixed them and tried to get those offspring approved...sometimes this happens and they get initial approval but when they breed the mixed breeding shows up and it becomes obvious. If I remember correctly, in this particular case, Zanetti disqualified his dogs for mixed breeding and the guy got pissed... am I correct so far ace or is this a different story?
