4health - does anyone feed this?

Luke has been on the 4Health Beef & Potato for a while ,he loves it. Tried the Turkey&Potato but he did not care for that to much. Had a hard time finding a kibble that kept his stol firm, all the other I tried resulted in "cow patties". No problems with the Beef & Potato so I will stick with it.

I normally feed Acana grain free but since 4Health was much cheaper, I thought I would try it. Roman gobbled down the Salmon and potato, 8 cups a day, but I saw his ribs begin to show and so I went back to Acana. I tried this 3 separate times, feeding the 30 lb bags, and it happened each time. He liked it, but he fairs better on 6 cups of Acana a day. So much for spending less.

I emailed the company to get phosphorus and calcium numbers. From my email:

4Health Turkey and Potato:
Calcium – 2.2% as fed
Phosphorus – 1.33% as fed

Looks a high on the calcium and out of the range for calcium:phosphorus

Have used 4health large breed for 2 years. Little puppy blew her knees out when eating TOTW and eukanuba. I like the glucosamine (sp) content in 4health. Switched my Rottie over to 4health large breed. Switched my sons two big dogs over too! There are recalls on many dog foods however we like and are confident in 4 health brand.
