How about a pocket mastiff thread- with pictures??

I looked and couldn't find a picture thread devoted to the littler dogs, so I thought I'd start first. This is my 1/2 English, 1/2 bull mastiff, Carly. She's 14 months old and 90 lbs. She's just entering her 2nd estrus, so I don't think she'll get much bigger.Carly at Ford Test Track May 2013 010.jpgreverse shoulder replacement and Carly and Allie mar 2013 006.jpg reverse shoulder replacement and Carly and Allie mar 2013 010.jpg
In the 2nd photo, she's lying in the sun with her labradoodle brother Cash, and that's her bff Allie in the last. Any other pocket mastiff owners want to show their's off???

Sorry, guys. No idea how the last 2 pics got onto this thread. I'd appreciate it if the administrator could delete them.

Lol this is an awesome idea. Carly is gorgeous. I have a pocket mastiff also, she's 100% EM. Duchess is her name when she's being good. If she's being bad, well she's got lots of names lol! Right now she's going through a "phase". Duchess weighs 92 lbs & is almost 16 months.

Azzy will be 2 next month. I have no clue what she weighs now but at 18 months when she was spayed she was about 95lbs. I think she's put on some weight since then though. She definitely looks like she's filled out some. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

My girl was 90lbs when I picked her up at the rescue. Last vet visit she weighed in at 99 1/2lbs. Does she count as a pocket mastiff?

Tali will be small too. Her Mama was 95 lbs, daddy was 145..but at 6 months she was just 52 lbs. She is beautiful and has a great temperament, and if she never gets any bigger that would be just fine...though I think she has a bit more growing to do.

Vegas just a bit too big to chase her best pal "critter" under the table.
She loves to "help" mom water the garden.
92# at 11 months.

Thanks so much for starting this thread! I've been looking for dogs similar to Nala ever since I got her last April. After reading this I suppose she'd be a "teacup" since she weighs around 70 pounds at 2 years. Also I think she might be 1/2 bull and 1/2 english since she looks a lot like Carly. :) She was the runt of her litter and unfortunately her previous owners didn't know much about her.

Here she is during her first trip to the beach (Lake Michigan), and staying out of the kitchen like a good girl!

I think it's safe to add Kujo to the pocket-mastiff / mini-mastiff list  at 15 months old he weighs about 96#, he's weighed this much since 11-12 months. He's likely to fill out some, he may even reach the breed standard weight, but he's small in comparison to most DDBs. Regardless, we love him to no end and wouldn't change him for anything.

Oh yeah...and he's about 22-23 inches at the shoulders.
